Pure Defender’s main active ingredient is Hypochlorous Acid. This naturally occurring compound is created from adding an electrical current to salt and water.
THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT – HYPOCHLOROUS ACID
Hypochlorous Acid (HA) is a natural substance with high efficacy towards pathogens. HA is produced in the human immune system (in white blood cells) as a defence against infection.
HA is produced when a brine solution of water and sodium chloride (salt) is subjected to an electric current (electrolysis). The electric current dissolves the chlorine in the salt solution to create the hyprochlorous acid.
Hypochlorous Acid is all natural and food safe. It has been used in the food-processing industry for many years.
